Due to a line break the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the City of Brownsboro to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teet, drinking, etc.,).  Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and a customers should follow these directions.

Public Hearing for 2023 Tax Year Proposed Property Tax Rate


A tax rate of $..635415 per $100 valuation has been proposed for adoption by the governing body of City of Brownsboro.  This tax rate exceeds the lower of the effective or rollback tax rate, and state law requires that a public hearing be held by the governing body bfore adopting the proposed tax rate.
